Lose the Fear of Taking the Citizenship Exam with MIRAUSA in Atlanta,GA

Atlanta, GA - On Saturday, February 11, MIRA USA carried out a citizenship workshop, whose purpose was to help individuals lose the fear of taking the United States citizenship examination.

This citizenship workshop conducted in Atlanta, with the participation of an immigration official Javier Garcia invited to speak to the individuals about the process. During the event, the people had the opportunity to ask many questions about the citizenship examination and the officer advised the attendees about the process. 

Thirty individuals attended this workshop, and at the end of the workshop, everybody seemed euphoric and satisfied because they were able to obtain valuable information regarding the examination and lose the fear of the citizenship exam.

Workshop of “Everything You Need to Know about Income Tax Returns"

Atlanta, GA – On November 14th, 2015 MIRA USA held a Workshop entitled: “Everything you Need to Know about Income Tax Returns."  This workshop took place at the Newnan Goodwill Career Center and it benefited the Latino community that resides in that area. 

Yvette Flórez, a Goodwill volunteer, facilitated the discussion and provided detailed information about the process and the required documentation to file the annual income tax returns. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and learned about rights and responsibilities when filing their taxes. They also received the most updated information to prepare them for the upcoming filing season.

Naturalization Information Workshop

Atlanta, GA – Residents of the Latino Community in Atlanta, Georgia benefited from the Naturalization Information Workshop “Don’t Fear the U.S. Citizenship Test” offered by MIRA-USA in partnership with the Chamblee Public Library on Saturday, October 17th, 2015. .

An immigration officer from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) facilitated the discussion and provided a detailed explanation about the requirements, benefits, and eligibility for becoming a U.S. citizen. Participants had the opportunity to be exposed to a mock interview and practice some of the questions for the writing and oral exams. They also received guidance, recommendations, and reassurance for them to gain confidence in the process to become naturalized citizens.

MIRA USA Helps Beautify Park in Georgia

Dacula, GA- MIRA USA is still striving to maintain its continuous focus on the environmental issues. Despite the low temperatures on March 3, more than 50 Miraists undertook the task of restoring and beautifying Dacula Park for more than three hours.
