Dover, New Jersey – Knowledge of the school system is necessary when transitioning from school to college. This is particularly true for immigrants, because of the dramatic differences that exist between the United States and their countries of origin.

Therefore, on October 11 Miraists from Dover, NJ offered an informational seminar conducted by José Acevedo, counselor of Morristown High School, who provided adetailed explanation of the school system.

Mr. Acevedo also talked about the support available to high school students, the college admission process and how parents can help their children prepare for a good college education.
