Tampa, FL- In its mission to promote health and wellbeing among Hispanic women, MIRA USA recently joined the “Yo Me Cuido” (I Take Care of Myself) Campaign. The campaign is lead by the Moffitt Cancer Center, which gave an information session regarding the different aspects of the disease.

During the session, which took place on October 10, participants learned to perform self-exams which help with the early detection of breast cancer, to ask their physicians questions and to adopt healthy eating habits in order to take control of their health.

The attendees also received gifts, which included a free mammogram.
