This is the second year that MIRA USA participates in this event at which dental health professionals of the North Carolina Dental Society volunteer their services to provide free care to low-income individuals.
The clinic runs for 36 consecutive hours, beginning on Friday at 6am and ending on Saturday at 6pm. Approximately 2000 patients received dental services after patiently waiting for their turn.
More than 800 dentists and volunteers, including a dozen miraists who interpreted, cleaned, registered patients and served as dental assistants during the night shift, participated in this noble cause that took place at the Convention Center in uptown Charlotte
