Queens, NY- MIRA USA organized a seminar entitled “Family Budget” at LaGuardia Community College on Dec. 15.

The seminar, which was led by a specialist in the field, Jose Leon, took place within a theoretical and practical framework and met the expectations of all 55 participants. The participants said that they learned about the importance of organizing their daily expenses in order to see a substantial improvement in the quality of life of their families.  

MIRA USA also took advantage of the space and time available to show a video of their National Director of Community Service, Jorge Muñoz. Muñoz, who is known as the “Angel of Queens”, is recognized as one of the 100 most prominent Colombians abroad and has been awarded for his excellent social work in New York City where he helps many immigrants of this country.
