CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – As a response to the needs stated by the immigrant community in Broward County, Fla., MIRA USA carried out an educational workshop that touched upon the importance of consolidating alternatives to improve the financial situation of families.

Public accountant Jorge Rozo explained the importance of saving and financial planning. In addition, the workshop presented role play activities on practical family budget, which served as tools to engage attendees.
Aside from the information provided, the nearly 40 people who attended the event had the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
Besides being informative and practical, this workshop also served for attendees to fill out an electronic form the Colombian Consulate designed online for the registration of Colombian identification cards.
