LONG ISLAND, N.Y. – On July 20th, MIRA USA hosted the first celebration of Colombia’s independence day in Long Island, but this time with family-centered approach, which highlighted the love felt for Colombia and its ethnic roots.

The celebration featured a typical costume contest, as well as a karaoke contest where people of all ages participated. This was all enriched with a broad taste of foods from different Colombian regions.
