Second Cleanup Activity at Adopted Highway in Charlotte
Charlotte, NC – With great happiness and willingness to volunteer, a group of Miraists challenged the low temperatures on Saturday November 9th to clean a one-mile stretch of Johnston Road–a road adopted by MIRA USA last summer.

Both adults and children gathered the Food Lion store parking lot in south Charlotte at 8:30 a.m. They were divided into two groups to then clean both sides of the street all through Pineville-Matthews Road.
This is the second environmental day that MIRA USA has performed on this road since July of last year, as part of the environment program, Adopt-A-Highway.
The group collected 10 garbage bags composed of different elements, such as: plastic, glass, cans, wood, among other items.
