Queens, NY – During the last two weeks, MIRA USA offered a course on health and safety for the construction industry in the Elmhurst Hospital located in the city of Queens, New York.

In this course, which was presented by the instructor Luz Brito Ochoa, students learned about how they need to take care of their health, and about the safety and risks that should be considered in their workplaces. Likewise, they learned about their rights and in case of an incident how to file a claim before OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

This successful course culminated last Friday, July 17th with the students excitedly receiving a certificate of completion.
