Atlanta, GA – Residents of the Latino Community in Atlanta, Georgia benefited from the Naturalization Information Workshop “Don’t Fear the U.S. Citizenship Test” offered by MIRA-USA in partnership with the Chamblee Public Library on Saturday, October 17th, 2015. .
An immigration officer from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) facilitated the discussion and provided a detailed explanation about the requirements, benefits, and eligibility for becoming a U.S. citizen. Participants had the opportunity to be exposed to a mock interview and practice some of the questions for the writing and oral exams. They also received guidance, recommendations, and reassurance for them to gain confidence in the process to become naturalized citizens.
This workshop is part of MIRA USA’s commitment to helping people and their communities afford a better quality of life.
