On Saturday, April 6, 2024, MIRA USA, in collaboration with the American Red Cross through the Global Alliance program, successfully conducted the “Saving Lives” event in the Tampa area. Our dedicated MIRA USA  volunteers installed 42 smoke alarms in 25 homes within our community. This initiative significantly impacted the lives of many immigrant families in the cities of Tampa, Clearwater, Pinellas Park, and Oldsmar. The volunteers not only installed smoke alarms, but also educated each beneficiary on preventive measures in case of emergencies or fires.
