On Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the American Red Cross headquarters in Greenville, SC, we conducted our “Prepare for Your Retirement” workshop. The objective was to educate participants on various retirement planning strategies, including appropriate savings plans tailored to individual needs. Mahler Nunez, representing the Hispanic community in Greenville, led the session, benefiting 22 attendees who had their questions answered and received valuable insights on achieving financial peace of mind. This workshop was particularly significant due to the prevalent lack of awareness in our Hispanic community regarding retirement financial planning.
