Workshop: Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Test || Charlotte, NC

The “Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Test” workshop took place on Saturday, June 29, at the North County Regional Library in Huntersville, north of Charlotte. This successful event saw 68 members of the Latino community review the Form N-400 questions and civics topics with the assistance of our dedicated volunteers. Participants had the chance to practice with mock interviews conducted in English, simulating the actual experience of meeting with an immigration officer. Many attendees expressed gratitude for the patience and kindness of our volunteers, which helped build their confidence for the exam. The event concluded with a touching citizenship ceremony, where participants proudly recited the oath and displayed American flags, celebrating their significant milestone.
