MIRA USA Honored at Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr.’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

Queens, NY – MIRA USA was proudly recognized as one of the honorees at the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration hosted by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. on Tuesday, October 10, 2024. The event, held at the New York Hall of Science, brought together community leaders and
organizations dedicated to empowering the Hispanic community in Queens.
MIRA USA, with both Kelly Molina (New York West) and Juan Carlos Rojas (New York East) Branch Directors in attendance, was acknowledged for its ongoing efforts to support immigrant communities and promote civic engagement in the borough. The organization was honored for its leadership in providing essential resources, such as immigration assistance and financial educational programs, which have made a positive impact in the lives of many residents.
Both Kelly Molina and Juan Carlos Rojas were given the opportunity to make brief remarks at the event, expressing gratitude for the recognition and reaffirming MIRA USA’s commitment to serving the Hispanic community in Queens and beyond.
The event, which ran from 6-8 PM, opened its doors at 5:30 PM with food and refreshments for attendees. It served as a celebration of culture, unity, and the collective contributions of Hispanic organizations and leaders to the vibrancy of Queens.
