On March 15, MIRA USA hosted a Homeownership Workshop at the Town N Country Library in Tampa with the goal of equipping community members with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully navigate the home-buying process.

The event welcomed more than 30 participants and featured expert panelists Liliana Serrano and Guillermo Gómez, who shared valuable insights on key topics including USDA loans with no down paymenttax benefits of homeownership in Florida, and essential financial considerations for prospective buyers. Attendees also participated in a comparative analysis of renting versus buying, allowing them to better assess which option best aligns with their personal and financial goals.

Throughout the workshop, participants were introduced to a variety of programs designed to expand access to affordable homeownership, making the session both informative and empowering. By the conclusion of the event, attendees were better prepared to make confident, informed decisions about their path to homeownership.

At MIRA USA, we remain deeply committed to supporting immigrant communities by providing guidance, education, and resources that foster long-term stability and economic opportunity. We are proud to stand alongside our community as they work toward achieving the dream of owning a home.
