On Saturday, April 26, MIRA USA successfully hosted the workshop “Immigration Progress and Adjustment of Status” in Elizabeth, New Jersey, welcoming 42 participants for an informative and impactful session focused on current immigration processes and recent policy developments.
The event featured immigration attorney Jay Sinovic as a guest panelist, who delivered a clear and comprehensive presentation on key aspects of immigration law. Topics included the appropriate forms required for different cases, the various visa options available for entering the United States, the importance of securing guidance from a qualified immigration attorney, and the necessity of addressing each immigration case on an individualized basis.
Attorney Sinovic also addressed the growing concern of immigration-related fraud, educating attendees on how to identify and avoid scams conducted by individuals falsely presenting themselves as legal professionals. In addition, he responded to critical questions based on participants’ personal experiences, providing practical, real-world insight.
Following the presentation, participants were given the opportunity to engage in individual consultations with the attorney — a component that was especially appreciated and added significant value to the overall experience.
This workshop reflects MIRA USA’s continued commitment to empowering immigrant communities with accurate information, legal awareness, and trusted guidance.
