On Saturday, September 13, MIRA USA hosted the workshop “Financial Protection and Personal Security” in Elizabeth, New Jersey, bringing together 26 participants for an informative session focused on safeguarding personal information in today’s digital environment.
The workshop was designed to provide the community with practical tools to protect their identity and strengthen personal security, as part of MIRA USA’s ongoing commitment to community support and education.
Participants learned how to identify common scams conducted through phone calls, text messages, and emails. They also gained a better understanding of their financial privacy rights and received guidance on the appropriate steps to take if they become victims of fraud.
Through initiatives like this, MIRA USA continues to empower communities with valuable resources that enhance well-being, security, and long-term resilience.
