On October 25, 2025, MIRA USA hosted the workshop “Overcome Your Fear of the U.S. Citizenship Exam” in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an educational initiative designed to support immigrants as they take the next step toward naturalization.

During the event, 39 participants benefited from hands-on guidance on the requirements for applying for U.S. citizenship, including a comprehensive review of Form N-400 and the official civics questions. Through interactive group activities, attendees strengthened their knowledge and built confidence, supported throughout the session by trained MIRA USA volunteers who facilitated each practice segment.

Participants then engaged in a mock naturalization interview, where they were able to apply what they had learned in an environment that closely mirrored the real exam experience. This practical exercise played a key role in reducing anxiety and increasing confidence in preparation for the official process.

The workshop also featured the valuable participation of a guest attorney, who provided relevant legal information and guidance to attendees.

Thanks to the commitment of volunteers and organizers, participants concluded the workshop better prepared, motivated, and confident to pursue their goal of becoming United States citizens. MIRA USA reaffirms its ongoing commitment to advancing the social, community, and civic integration of immigrants nationwide.
