Preparing for the U.S. citizenship test involves more than memorizing questions. Understanding the process, practicing the interview, and knowing what to expect can make a meaningful difference when the official appointment arrives.

On July 18, MIRA USA partnered with the New-York Historical Museum to offer “Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Test,” a hands-on workshop attended by more than 30 participants.

The session gave attendees an opportunity to review civics questions, learn key information about Form N-400, and take part in mock interviews that recreated important parts of the naturalization process. This practical format also allowed participants to identify areas they may want to continue strengthening before their official interview.

Supported by MIRA USA volunteers, the workshop became a space for questions, practice, and shared learning. Through experiences like this, MIRA USA continues to expand access to reliable information and practical tools that support civic integration.
