MIRA USA Volunteers Help Coordinate the Mobile Consulate Event of Ecuador
Charlotte, NC – A group of MIRA USA volunteers became the “right hand” of the Casa del Ecuatoriano Foundation in charge of coordinating the mobile consulate in Ecuador that took place in Charlotte last weekend of November 11 and 12. The organization, headed by its director Aracely Pacheco, again required the collaboration of MIRA USA and its volunteers to make possible this activity.
MIRA USA volunteers collaborated on Saturday and Sunday in different tasks, from helping to organize people so that they were attended according to the order of arrival and procedure to be done, offering information about the documents they needed to process passports, powers of attorney and registrations to vote abroad. “I thank MIRA USA for their great help along with their volunteers who professionally made part of the mobile consulate so that this event could be a success,” said Pacheco.

In the activity was the consul of Ecuador in Atlanta, Georgia, Juan Rafael Arcos Tuitza, who did not rest until all the Ecuadorians were attended and also high light the good work of the MIRA USA Volunteers “It is a pleasure to always count on the help of them, always smiling and friendly,” said the diplomat.
MIRA USA has been collaborating for several years in the consular activities done by the Casa del Ecuatoriano Foundation; this year’s events, for example, were important pieces for the realization of the presidential voting day in Ecuador that took place on February 19th in Charlotte.
In this way, MIRA USA demonstrates once again that there is no border or nationality when it comes to helping the different communities.
