Tampa, FL – MIRA USA in Tampa with the support of the School Counseling Services of Hillsborough County Public Schools and the bilingual program “Steps to the Future”,  carried out an informational workshop on Saturday, May 26, 2018, about the transition from High School to College and prepare both parents and children in this important step.

The “Steps to the Future” bilingual program consists of 4 steps to guide the student to continue their education. The 4 steps are 1. Prepare an ideal academic profile fulfilling all the requirements to be a solid candidate, 2. Search for the ideal colleges or universities, 3. Enroll in the university, 4. Pay the costs of the university taking advantage of federal and state aid and public and private scholarships.

The assistants to the workshop were very satisfied and grateful for the information and material received because now they have a guide to fulfill their dream of enrolling in the university. Thanks to this workshop done by  MIRA USA they know that the lack of legal documentation is not an impediment to enroll in the university, that there are thousands of financial aid and scholarships to which they can apply, and that with preparation and organization all their academic goals can be achieved.
