Tampa, FL – On Saturday, July 14th, the second workshop of 2018 “Lose the Fear of Taking the Citizenship Test” was held in Tampa, with the attendance of more than 40 people and 15 MIRA USA volunteers.
The workshop had the participation of the law firm Rivera & Picado and the USCIS immigration officers Don Jarrell and María Rodríguez, who explained in detail the requirements to become US citizens. They highlighted the requirements to take the citizenship test in Spanish and the importance of personal presentation, respect and always telling the truth both on the application and during the interview.

Then, each of the participants had the opportunity to ask questions individually to lawyer Jorge Rivera and each of the USCIS officers.
While all this was happening in the information group, those who were in the simulation group studied the questions of the N-400 application and the 100 civic questions to get ready for the mock interview.
The event ended with the citizenship ceremony of MIRA USA, in the company of Officer María Rodríguez and celebrating with the flags raised, the attendees left happy and grateful.
