This workshop offered in Spanish was focused on providing information to people in the process to apply for naturalization to become United States citizens.  An officer from USCIS provided information to the participants regarding the requirements and steps to present the application N-400. He also gave individual orientation to participants according to their particular situation.

Additionally, the attendees had the opportunity to be instructed on how to answer questions regarding personal information included in the N-400 form, United States history and civics.  Then, participants were led to a separate room to experience a simulation of the citizenship interview.

At the end of the event, a mock citizen graduation took place where the attendees practiced the United States Oath to Allegiance.  The participants expressed their satisfaction with the learning experience, and the volunteer’s commitment and warm interaction with them.
