MIRA USA Palm Beach organized a workshop called “There are Scholarships” led by the guest speaker, Erik Moncada, Lee Rodriguez and Jeannett Manzanero from Palm Beach State college at the Palm Beach Public Library, Lantana branch.

MIRA USA volunteers welcomed community members who attended the workshop while a brief video introduced our organization.  Dr. Jeannett Manzanero made a presentation focused in understanding the services offered through the Global Education Center.  Then, she explained about the financial aid for immigrants without a legal status by the TheDream.US organization. Then, Erik Moncada and Lee Rodriguez explained the career pathways, different degrees, and financial aid options.

At the end of the event, the speakers provided persona orientation to attendees and volunteers alike.  Participants expressed their satisfaction regarding the workshop quality and helpfulness. They further expressed their gratitude towards MIRA USA and its commitment to help the immigrant community.
