MIRA USA Informs: Emergency Food Assistance in Houston
A cordial greeting to everyone and thanks for always being connected to our social networks. As part of our commitment to the community, we want you to be very well informed about various aids that are presented in our city of Houston and its surrounding areas.
Today, we bring two helpful sources that will be very useful for these times where many need a helping hand.
1. HISD Nutrition Services will continue to work with the Houston Food
Bank and they will relaunch food distribution efforts throughout the district
beginning Monday, April 6. As families arrive at the sites, staff members will fill out an Emergency Food Assistance Program Form for them and place boxes in car trunks. Participants who walk up to the sites must also adhere to social distancing requirements.
