Jacksonville, Florida – Given the success of the previous sessions organized by MIRA USA regarding Colombia’s social security system, Colombian Attorney Ana Carmenza Reyes, presided a third session on this important and relevant topic to the Colombian community of a city located in Northern Florida – Jacksonville.

Dr Reyes gave detailed explanations of the various types of pensions defined by the Colombian legislation including pensions for the elderly, disabled, and survivors. Dr Reyes also covered other topics related to the pension system such as the supplemental indemnification, return of salary and funeral services.

Many Colombian residents of the area had the opportunity to receive answers to questions they had regarding the complex subject of social security.
