Dover, NJ – The City of Dover recognized MIRA USA for the excellent work it had done during the past few years for the community and for the emergency assistance provided in the aftermath of super storm Sandy.

Dover’s Mayor, James P. Dodd gave the recognition to MIRA USA, thanking the organization for its dedication, hard work, and contribution to the community. “Nothing would have been possible without MIRA USA,” the Mayor said.

Many people did not have food and/or power after super storm Sandy, which is why MIRA USA joined efforts to provide aid to the victims through shelter and food.

As MIRA USA’s national director of Community Services, Jorge Muñoz received the award on behalf of the organization.
