Adopted Highway in Sarasota is cleaned

SARASOTA, Fla – A large number of Miraists gathered on Saturday, July 6 to clean a stretch of US 41 as part of the project known as Adopt-a-Highway.

During the day, more than 25 bags of litter equivalent to 196 pounds were removed from the street, contributing not only to public health but also to the preservation of the animal habitat that remains in aquatic ecosystems located along this important motorway.

“Every time is a more rewarding work”, say those who attended to the call, because in spite of the strenuous work it is the gratitude of the community that always motivate us. They are always grateful for the selfless and constant work of our organization proudly rising the banner “helping move us.”
