Charlotte, NC – With litter pickers and trash bags in hand, a group of Miraists in Charlotte, North Carolina, dressed in blue to carry out the first Ecological Day on Park Road-Johnston Road, which was recently adopted by MIRA USA.

The activity, held last Saturday morning August 10 was carried out as part of the commitment of the organization to create awareness in the community to protect the environment.

The enthusiastic Miraists divided into several groups and collected trash and debris off of a 1-mile section of this busy road located at the south of the Queen City.

The section now has two signs with the name of MIRA USA which distinguish this segment of the road, and were placed by the program “Adopt a Street” of the city of Charlotte.
