Over a thousand of residents from these counties came together, all eager to learn about the culture of the different Colombian regions, which was displayed in illustrative tents, containing the most significant elements of the Atlantic and Pacific Coast, as well as the Andes, Amazon and Los Llanos regions.
Likewise, many of those in attendance had the opportunity to partake of an educative experience through Colombian folk games and traditional dishes, whereas others just reminisced about old times in their country.
Traditional dances were also part of the Colombian cultural display. In addition, there were also performances by the musical duo Maka; Grammy-Award-nominee singer, Paula Zuleta, and a speech from Jorge Munoz, MIRA USA National Director of Community Services.
