JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –  For the fourth consecutive time, the “Lose the Fear of Citizenship” workshop, was held on October 26 in Jacksonville. The free workshop aims to prepare the Hispanic community for the U.S citizenship interview.

Miraists prepared the applicants at the South Mandarin Library with a mock citizenship exam to learn step-by-step how to conduct themselves during the interview with the immigration officer. The mock interview allows applicants to experience the actual process as it occurs in real life.

Upon completion of the workshop, applicants took the mock citizenship exam and expressed satisfaction with the seminar. They recognized and valued the efforts of the bilingual volunteers that personally assisted them to have a successful interview in becoming  U.S. citizens.
