Queens , NY – On Saturday July 25, a group of Miraists together with several nonprofit organizations, joined the Red Cross to contribute in a very important project : To educate the community about  preventive and mitigation against home fires.

As part of this initiative to inform the community regarding fire prevention and mitigating measures, the Red Cross prepared and distributed literature with steps to prevent fires in the homes. Residents were excited to receive recommendations regarding precautions and care they should take to prevent a fire and how to react if one occurs. The project also included a plan of distribution and installation of smoke detectors.

Thus the work of MIRA USA continues on ways to improve the quality of life of communities in need in the United States.
