MIRA Informs: Summertime help for children and teens in Florida

With Florida schools closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Food, Nutrition and Welfare Division invite families to take advantage of the alternative school meals that will be offered in different locations through the Summer BreakSpot program which:

Provides nutritious meals at no cost to children 18 and under while school is out during the summer.

There is no need to fill out any application.

Operates in schools, nonprofits, and government entities, such as parks and libraries.
