Washington D.C. – On April 16, 2016, MIRA USA Volunteers and Potomac Conservancy gathered at the Fletcher’s Boathouse for one of the biggest environmental gatherings of the year in the Potomac River. During the day around 18 Miraistas and about 50 other volunteers joined forces to collect litter on the trails of the Potomac River. At the event, many things were found such as cans, tires, glass, plastics and shoes among others. These environmental activities carried out by MIRAUSA are of great environmental contribution to the community of Washington D.C.
