STUDENT LOAN INTEREST SUSPENDED On March 21st.,2020, it was signed the CARES Act providing broad relief for Federal Student Loan borrowers a week after the Department of Education announced it first.
It was stated that Federal Student Loan Borrowers would be given the option to suspend payments of interest on Student Loan through September 30th., 2020 without penalty.
Repayment to begin at the end of September To suspend payments, borrowers should contact their service providers and enroll in the forbearance program.
