On March 23, 2024, MIRA USA’s Dover Branch  hosted their first in-person workshop of 2024 at the Public Library in Dover. This free event was open to the entire community, with a primary focus on Latino immigrants residing in New Jersey. Nineteen community members attended and expressed gratitude for the organization’s commitment to assisting immigrants.

Panelist Lucero Camargo, with over 12 years of experience in the field, delivered an informative and engaging presentation to all participants and volunteers present at the workshop. Topics included what an ITIN is, its purpose, and its benefits. At the conclusion of the presentation, participants had the opportunity to ask questions. The event concluded on a positive note, with attendees not only receiving a wealth of information but also enjoying a respectful atmosphere where they felt welcomed.
