On June 1, 2024, MIRA USA volunteers, in partnership with the American Red Cross, conducted a significant smoke alarm installation event in Norcross, Georgia. This collaborative initiative aimed to enhance safety and protect lives and homes within the community. The event has been recognized for its substantial impact and success in promoting fire safety.

Recognitions for MIRA USA and Our Volunteers:

1. Lives Saved: In November 2023, our volunteers’ efforts led to the saving of four lives from a fire threat, earning us the “Lives Saved” recognition for this heroic achievement.
2. Golden Alarm Award: This accolade was awarded for the remarkable accomplishment of installing over 1,000 alarms, highlighting our unwavering commitment to community safety and life protection.
3. Volunteer Recognition: Special recognition was bestowed upon the volunteers who participated in installing life-saving alarms during the noted fire incident, acknowledging their invaluable contributions and dedication.

Event Impact:

The event was a notable success, with 376 alarms installed in 120 homes, benefiting 586 individuals. These statistics reflect the significant reach and importance of our mission to enhance community safety and well-being.
