On July 27, 2024, the Dover, NJ branch of MIRA USA conducted the workshop “How to Buy or Lease a Vehicle Safely and Effectively.” Understanding the vital need for transportation among immigrants in the U.S., this event aimed to assist individuals in making informed decisions about acquiring a vehicle in New Jersey. Participants learned about the differences between buying and leasing, the pros and cons of each option, and the importance of warranties, insurance, and negotiation. Over 40 attendees actively participated and received personalized assistance from panelists. We appreciate the support of the panelists, attendees, and the Dover Public Library for facilitating this successful event.
