
On August 3, 2024, MIRA USA hosted the Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Exam workshop in Elizabeth, NJ, welcoming 36 participants eager to better understand and navigate the U.S. naturalization process.
Facilitators Geraldine Gómez and Cristian Erazo led an informative session covering essential topics such as completing the N-400 application, preparing for the civics test, and anticipating common questions in the naturalization interview. Participants had the opportunity to engage in a mock interview and a simulated oath ceremony, offering a realistic preview of the process and helping to alleviate anxieties around it.
This workshop exemplified MIRA USA’s commitment to empowering immigrant communities by equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to take the next step toward U.S. citizenship.
