On Saturday, March 22, 2025, MIRA USA hosted the free workshop “Financial Protection and Personal Security” in Bridgeport, Connecticut, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., bringing together approximately 15 members of the Hispanic community for an engaging and educational session.

The workshop addressed essential topics including the basic rights of employees, tenants, and homebuyers, equipping participants with practical tools to protect themselves against fraud, misinformation, and improper practices in various personal and financial contexts. In addition, MIRA USA volunteers provided valuable guidance on strengthening everyday financial stability and personal security.

By the conclusion of the event, participants expressed strong satisfaction with the knowledge gained and emphasized its immediate relevance to their daily lives. This initiative further reinforces MIRA USA’s ongoing commitment to the education, empowerment, and protection of immigrant communities.
