On August 9, MIRA USA – Kendall successfully hosted the workshop “Overcoming the Fear of the Citizenship Exam” at the Westchester Public Library in Miami, Florida, welcoming 40 participants for a free and informative session on the U.S. naturalization process.
During the workshop, attendees learned about the requirements, benefits, and responsibilities of becoming U.S. citizens. With the support of bilingual tutors, participants practiced U.S. civics questions and reviewed topics related to the N-400 application in a welcoming and highly participatory environment.
One of the most impactful components of the event was the mock interview, which helped participants strengthen their confidence and preparedness for the actual citizenship process.
This workshop, fully open to the public at no cost, was made possible through the dedication and commitment of MIRA USA volunteers, who provided continuous guidance and personalized support throughout the session.
As part of MIRA USA’s Immigration Assistance Program, this initiative reaffirms the organization’s commitment to education, social inclusion, and community empowerment.
