On October 4, MIRA USA hosted the workshop “Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Exam” in Kissimmee, Florida, designed to equip participants with the confidence and preparation needed to successfully complete their naturalization interview.
More than 40 community members actively participated in the session, engaging in mock interviews, reviewing the N-400 application, practicing civics questions, and strengthening their reading and writing skills. The event was supported by a team of 30 dedicated volunteers who provided personalized guidance, helping each participant identify areas for improvement and progress with confidence.
The workshop also featured the valuable participation of immigration attorney Ileana Rivera and retired immigration officer Mayra Millán, who shared practical insights and essential recommendations to help attendees navigate their interview process successfully.
Through its Immigration Assistance Program, MIRA USA continues to support lawful permanent residents across the United States by offering free, accessible educational spaces that strengthen knowledge, confidence, and preparedness—empowering individuals to achieve their goal of becoming United States citizens.
