Citizenship preparation becomes more meaningful when participants have the opportunity to practice what they have learned. On July 25, nearly 18 people took part in a hands-on workshop in Bridgeport, Connecticut, organized by MIRA USA in collaboration with LEAD.
Through “Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Test,” attendees worked with questions from Form N-400, reviewed civics topics, and participated in a mock interview conducted in English. The session gave them a chance not only to study, but also to experience some of the situations they may encounter during the naturalization process.
The practical exercises helped participants identify areas where they felt confident and others that may require additional preparation before their official interview.
With the support of MIRA USA volunteers and the collaboration of LEAD, the workshop provided a welcoming environment where participants could strengthen their knowledge and continue moving forward in their citizenship preparation.
