On August 8, 2026, MIRA USA held the “Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Exam” workshop at the Buenaventura Lakes Library in Kissimmee, Florida. The workshop was designed to help permanent residents prepare with greater confidence for their naturalization interview.
During the event, more than 30 participants received guidance on the citizenship process and practiced different stages of the exam with the support of 25 volunteers, who provided personalized assistance and answered questions.
Participants reviewed civics questions, the Form N-400, reading and writing exercises, as well as common instructions used during the interview. They also took part in a mock interview conducted entirely in English, allowing them to become more familiar with the process and strengthen their confidence.
Through its Immigration Assistance Program, MIRA USA continues to provide educational tools and guidance to permanent residents seeking to prepare in an informed way for the naturalization process.
