On August 29, MIRA USA held the “Overcome Your Fear of the Citizenship Exam” workshop in Long Island, New York, a session designed to support permanent residents as they prepare for their naturalization interview.
During the event, approximately 15 participants had the opportunity to practice civics questions and questions from Form N-400, take part in a mock interview, and clarify concerns about the process and what they can expect on the day of their appointment.
Beyond reinforcing their knowledge, the workshop provided participants with a practical and supportive experience that allowed them to become more familiar with the interview, identify areas they may need to continue strengthening, and move forward with greater confidence in their preparation.
With the support of MIRA USA volunteers, participants were able to ask questions, practice their responses, and feel more comfortable approaching this important step in their naturalization process.
Through its Immigration Assistance Program, MIRA USA continues to promote educational opportunities that provide people with information and practical tools to navigate immigration processes in an informed and prepared manner.
