Tampa, Florida – With the participation of 47 attendees and 19 volunteers, the first citizenship workshop “Lose the Fear of Taking the Citizenship Exam with MIRA USA” of 2018 was held in the city of Tampa on Saturday, March 31.
Thanks to the support of USCIS Immigration Supervisor in Tampa, Catherine Ventura, and immigration agent Vega, attendees learned about the ins and outs of the naturalization process, all their questions about the process and the eligibility requirements were answered, and they had the opportunity to see a mock interview live.

Those who have already sent their application and are waiting to receive their appointment to take the fingerprints, or to go to the interview, and those whose interview is scheduled in the coming weeks, had the opportunity to study the questions of the N-400 application with bilingual volunteers, as well as practicing the 100 civics questions in English.
After doing the mock interview individually with the attendees who are already on the way to becoming US citizens, the immigration agents simulated the naturalization ceremony and the oath of allegiance.
With great happiness, the attendees thanked MIRA USA and its volunteers because this workshop is of great help to begin their naturalization process and to lose the fear of the taking the citizenship exam.
