
A special awards night took place in the City of Orlando on December 15th, to acknowledge the outstanding volunteers of 2018. The first acknowledgment was granted to the volunteer Paola Ramírez, for her exceptional work, being the firsthand contact with the recipient community.

Following this, special recognition was given to the Golden Ants of 2018: Marisela Varela-Russian and Nicolás López. Two great volunteers who have been identified with the values of MIRA USA for their commitment and unconditional support to the community.
At the end of the night, the director, Nidia Reyes, took advantage of the opportunity to thank the whole group of volunteers for their hard work during the year and extended the invitation to future volunteers.
