
Seminar on Latest Immigration Information Held in Elizabeth
ELIZABETH, N.J – At a time when Senate advances discussions regarding immigration issues, MIRA USA thought it was pertinent to hold a seminar with an immigration expert to inform the community and prepare them for a possible immigration reform.

The 3-hour event was held at the Community Center on Palmer Street in Elizabeth, N.J. on Sat. May 11.
Immigration lawyer, Moses Apsan, answered attendees’ questions regarding change of status, migrant relief as the “visa waiver” and the procedures immigrants should follow when meeting with immigration agents.
About 50 people including representatives of Hope, an organization that fights for workers’ rights in the state, attended the seminar which was publicized by local print and television news.
