Edly Vliet, community relations officer of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), who traveled from Atlanta (Georgia) to present the workshop, spoke about all the details about the naturalization process.

Attendees from all nationalities and ages had the opportunity to witness a simulated interview in English led by Vliet and her coworker Carly Dlugoszwski, an official of the agency in Charlotte.

Vliet led a very pleasant workshop which lasted for two hours, and she answered questions as she was explaining each point in the process, the interview and the requirements for becoming a US citizen.

The event was well received by the attendees, many of whom said they feel assured now to take this important step. Similarly, the USCIS officials expressed their satisfaction with the results of the workshop, leaving the doors open for MIRA USA to repeat it in the future.
