Tampa, FL – On the first day of December Tampa branch celebrated Volunteer Day in Tampa Bay with some of the beloved miraists who have worked selflessly during 2018 to help impact the lives of more than 1,500 people and their families in the United States.
In this celebration “Golden Ant” award was given to Scarlet Rodríguez González and Jessica Socorro, and honored our outstanding volunteers Victor Ortiz, Ruth Esperanza Arias, Flor Prada, Joseph Nelson, and Aury Castillo. Through them, it was recognized the hard work, dedication, organization and love that all MIRA USA volunteers display practicing the values of Miraism, which are solidarity, justice, loyalty, integrity and honesty.

In addition, volunteers shared a lunch and learned about the new focus of the organization and the areas of work on which the branch of Tampa will focus the efforts to continue helping the immigrant population in the United States.
Thanks to the sponsors Taylor White Accounting and Finance Placement, Metro Hair Salon and Spa and Jhon Theodore and Fatima Rivadeneira Arteaga. Thanks to their donations, MIRA USA was able to honor the volunteers for contributing to the social, community, and civic integration of immigrants in the United States.
